Myth Busting

"Easy PR" is a marketing phrase, not a migration pathway

If a provider leads with guarantees and speed, they are selling you something other than advice. Here is how to read those claims.

You will see the phrase everywhere: easy PR, guaranteed outcome, fastest route, no refusal. It is worth understanding why those claims exist and why no one who takes the work seriously makes them.

Nobody controls the decision

Applications are decided by a delegate against legislation, policy and the evidence in front of them. A representative can assess eligibility, structure a case, prepare evidence properly and advise on risk. Nobody can guarantee a decision, and nobody can compress statutory processing into a promise.

What guarantees are actually signalling

A guarantee tells you the provider has decided that winning your business matters more than telling you the truth about your position. In practice it usually means uncomfortable facts about your case were left out of the conversation.

Better questions to ask a provider

Ask what in your circumstances is a genuine risk. Ask what would make your case stronger and how long that would take. Ask what happens if the assessment shows you are not currently eligible for the thing you came in asking about. The quality of those answers tells you more than any success statistic.

Know your options before you make your next move.

Know your options before you make your next move.

A case assessment is a structured review of your circumstances and the pathways they support. You'll get an honest read on where you stand — including when the answer isn't the one you were hoping for.
