Privacy & collection statement

You are telling us facts about your status, your history and your plans. Here is exactly what we do with them, in plain language.

What we collect

When you submit a case assessment or enquiry, we collect your name, contact details, preferred language, citizenship and country of residence, current visa status and expiry, any refusal or cancellation history you tell us about, your migration goals, and anything else you choose to write in the free-text fields.

We also record how you arrived at this site — the referring page and any campaign parameters in the link you followed — so we know which of our materials people find useful.

Why we collect it

To assess your situation and respond to you. Migration advice depends entirely on facts: your status, your dates, your history. Without those details we cannot tell you anything useful, and we would rather say nothing than guess.

If you become a client, the same information forms the basis of the strategy and any application we prepare on your instructions.

Sensitive information

Refusal, cancellation and character-related history is sensitive. We collect it because it materially changes what pathways remain open, and we treat it accordingly: it is visible only to the advisers working on your matter.

Who we disclose it to

Our advisers and administrative staff, and the service providers who host our systems on our instructions. With your instructions, the Department of Home Affairs, the Administrative Review Tribunal, education providers, skills assessing authorities or English testing bodies as required for your matter.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not proceed are retained for two years, then deleted. Client files are retained for seven years after the matter closes, consistent with our professional record-keeping obligations.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.

If you believe we have mishandled your information, tell us first — we would rather fix it directly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

General information is not advice

The articles, videos and explanatory material on this site are general information about how Australian migration and education pathways work. They are not advice about your circumstances, and nothing on this site should be relied on as a prediction of an outcome in your case.
