Migration Updates
State nomination settings change constantly. Here is how we track what matters to your case
Occupation lists and nomination criteria are reviewed and revised on their own schedules. Most changes will not touch your case. Some will, and timing matters.
State and territory nomination programs adjust their occupation lists, eligibility criteria and invitation rounds on an ongoing basis, sometimes with little notice. Following every announcement is unnecessary for most people. Missing the one that actually affects you is not.
What we monitor
Changes to occupation lists relevant to clients' fields, shifts in points or experience thresholds, and adjustments to invitation frequency or nomination caps that affect timing rather than eligibility outright.
How we decide what matters to a specific case
We check a change against the specific criteria a client's plan depends on. A list update that adds or removes an unrelated occupation has no bearing on a case built around a different one. A threshold change that touches a client's exact occupation and state, on the other hand, gets flagged and discussed immediately.
What clients should take from this
You do not need to interpret migration program announcements yourself. If something changes that affects your position, we will tell you, and we will tell you what it means for your timeline specifically — not just that "something changed."
